2-Step Fried Mackerel

|500 g||mackerel; scaled, gutted, gills removed, and make 2 or 3 diagonal slits along its length on both sides.|
|1 teaspoon||turmeric powder|
|1 ½ tablespoon||MAGGI® CukupRasa™|
|Oil, to deep fry|
Firstly, place the fish in a big bowl.
- Next, add the turmeric and MAGGI® CukupRasa™ to the fish.
Rub the mixture onto the fish and also inside the stomach cavity. Let it marinate for a few minutes while you get the wok ready.
- Then, heat enough oil to deep fry. Gently add the fish to the wok.
Fry the fish until it turns golden brown on both sides.
Lastly, remove the fish from the wok and set it on a serving plate.
