20-Min Chinese Fried Rice
A great way to finish up leftover rice.
Good to Know
Add extra veggies like cabbage and long beans to the fried rice for an extra dose of nutrients.
|600 g||rice (preferably day-old rice)|
|2 tablespoons||cooking oil|
|4 cloves||garlic, minced|
|100 g||prawns, peeled and deveined|
|100 g||mixed frozen vegetables|
|2 teaspoons||MAGGI® CukupRasa™|
|½ teaspoon||sesame oil|
|½ teaspoon||white pepper powder|
Start by heating up the cooking oil in a wok.
Next, add the garlic and prawns. Sauté until the prawns are cooked through.
Then, crack the egg into the pan and cook it all together.
At this point, add in the rice and mix well.
You then add in the MAGGI® CukupRasa™, mixed frozen vegetables, sesame oil and white pepper powder and stir-fry for 2 minutes. Serve it immediately while it’s still hot.
Combine soy sauce and some thinly sliced chillies in a small bowl and serve on the side.
