4 fresh sardine fish, cleaned
A: (Blended ingredients)
3 red chilli
2cm turmeric
1 cm ginger
1 litre water
3 pieces dried tamarind slices
2 stalks lemon grass, bruised
2 cm galangal, thinly sliced
10 daun kesum leaves
2 tablespoon MAGGI® CukupRasa™


  1. In a wok, add ingredients A that has been blended. Let it come to a boil.
  2. Add in sardines and ingredients B.
  3. Let the gravy simmer until the fish is cooked and ready to be served!
