Drool-worthy Brinjal Sambal
With the softness of the brinjal, the yumminess of the sambal, you’d regret not giving this dish a try!
|¼ cup||cooking oil|
|3 medium sized||shallots|
|40 g (dry)||dried chilli, soaked to soften and drained|
|100 g||tamarind paste|
|1 ½ tablespoon||MAGGI® CukupRasa™|
|1 ½ tablespoon||sugar|
|3||brinjal, sliced thinly|
- Heat 1 teaspoon of oil and grill eggplant until it chars a little.
- Heat oil and sauté blended ingredients until oil separates.
- Cook until the sambal turns darker than it was originally.
- When the sambal starts to look dry, pour the tamarind water and let it come to a boil. Sprinkle in MAGGI® CukupRasa™ and sugar.
