Family Favourite Beef Stew

You can prepare this dish in slow cooker to get thicker, richer and flavourful taste.
|1 tablespoon||corn oil|
|350 gram||beef, cut into pieces|
|1||onion, cut into cubes|
|10 cloves||garlic, whole|
|1 tablespoon||tomato paste/puree|
|¼ cup||MAGGI® Tomato Sauce|
|100 g||potatoes, cut into cubes|
|100 g||capsicum, green & red, cut into cubes|
|50 g||leek, cut into cubes|
|50 g||carrots, cut into cubes|
|2 cubes||MAGGI® Chicken Cubes|
Heat pan with oil, in a bowl mix beef and flour. Panfry beef until half cooked or golden brown. Set aside.
- Using the same wok from beef, stir fry onion, garlic, oregano, bay leaf, paprika until aromatic and add in beef. Pour in water, tomato paste and MAGGI Tomato Sauce. Stir thoroughly.
- After boiling, add in ingredients potato, capsicum, leek, carrot, celery and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Add in MAGGI CHICKEN CUBE, stir well and simmer another 10 minutes with low heat. Let the gravy become slightly thick.
