Ingredients

¼ cup Cooking oil
2 pc Yellowtail Scad (Ikan Selar)
2 tsp Turmeric powder
½ tsp MAGGI® CukupRasa™
A:  
1 tsp Oil (from frying the fish)
1 tsp Red onion, sliced
2 cloves Garlic, sliced
2 in Ginger, sliced
1 stalk Bird’s eye chillies, sliced in half
50 ml Water
B:  
1 Tomatoes, cut into wedges
4 stalks Spring onion, cut into long pieces
½ tbsp MAGGI® CukupRasa™
1 tbsp Tamarind juice
½ tsp Suga

Preparation

  1. In a bowl, marinate fish with turmeric powder and MAGGI® CukupRasa™.
  2. Heat oil, fry fish till crispy.
  3. Using 1 tsp of the same oil, stir fry ingredients A till mushy.
  4. Add ingredients B, simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Pour over fish.
  6. Nutrition Tip : Using natural herbs like ginger and tamarind can elevate the taste.
