Good to Know

Besides fiber, spinach is also rich in Iron, an essential component in the production of red blood cells and responsible for carrying oxygen throughout the body.


300 g spinach, washed
3 tablespoons cooking oil
3 red onions, minced
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 red chillies, sliced thinly
1 tablespoon MAGGI® CukupRasa™
½ teaspoon white pepper powder
3 tablespoons water


  1. Wash spinach well, discarding coarse stems, and drain in a colander.

  2. Heat your favorite oil in a large sauté pan or skillet over medium heat. When the heat is just right, add in the red onions, garlic and red chillies and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Next, increase the heat to medium-high and place the spinach into the pan.
  4. And then, add in the MAGGI® CukupRasa™, white pepper powder and water.
  5. Since spinach releases a lot of water when it cooks, continue stirring and cooking the spinach until the liquid evaporates, about 5 minutes.

  6. Serve your quick and easy vegetable dish while it’s still hot.
