LEMONGRASS CHICKEN
A chicken dish infused with the flavours and aromas of lemongrass.
Ingredients
500 g | Chicken thigh meat, cut into small pieces |
2 tbsp | MAGGI® Oyster Sauce |
3 tbsp | Corn oil |
A: (Pounded) | |
4 nos | Shallots |
5 cloves | Garlic |
3 pcs | Red chillies |
4 pcs | Red bird’s eye chillies |
4 stalks | Lemongrass, crushed |
4 pcs | Kaffir lime leaves |

2 tsp | Sweet soy sauce |
1 tbsp | MAGGI® Oyster Sauce |
2 tsp | Fish sauce |
1/2 tsp | Sugar |
Preparation
1. In a bowl, mix chicken and MAGGI® Oyster Sauce.
2. Marinate for 15 – 20 minutes. Meanwhile, prepare other ingredients.
3. Heat oil and fry chicken till partially cooked. Set aside.
4. Using the same oil, stir fry Ingredients A till the oil separates.
5. Add chicken and Ingredients B, stir evenly.
6. Serve hot.
Kitchen Tip: To organize timing, pre-cook the aromatics and store in a tight container to easily use.
