2 tablespoon Coconut oil
1 nos Shallot, sliced
1 inch Ginger, sliced
1 clove Garlic, sliced
500 g Rice, rinsed and drained
600 ml Water
200 ml Nestlé Just Milk Full Cream Milk
1 tablespoon MAGGI® CukupRasa™
2 pieces Pandan leaves
Anchovies Sambal:  
1 teaspoon Cooking oil
1/2 nos Red onion, sliced
2 packs MAGGI® Sambal Tumis Paste
100 ml Water
1/4 teaspoon Tamarind paste
80 g Dried anchovies, cleaned and soaked for 10 minutes
2 teaspoons Sugar
3 nos Eggs, boiled
100 g Cucumber, sliced
1 bowl Peanuts, toasted



  1. Heat oil and sauté shallots, ginger and garlic. Add in the rice grains and turn off the heat immediately. Mix well.
  2. Place sautéed ingredients into a rice cooker and add in water, NESTLÉ Just Milk Full Cream Milk, MAGGI® CukupRasa™ and mix thoroughly. Add in pandan leaves and let it cook.
  3. Heat oil, sauté the onion and add MAGGI® Sambal Tumis Paste. Mix well.
  4. Add water, anchovies, tamarind paste and sugar. Allow it to simmer and cook through.
  5. Serve the rice with sambal and garnish with eggs, cucumber and toasted peanuts.
