Salted Fish Kailan
Over did the recipe with oyster sauce and garlic? Give this recipe from the east coast a switch by adding in some salted fish!
|1 tbsp||Corn oil|
|½ pc||Salted ikan kurau meat, cut into small pieces|
|3 cloves||garlic, pounded|
|4 stalks||bird’s eye chilli, pounded|
|300 g||Kailan, washed and sliced into big pieces (more leaves, stems sliced)|
|1 tsp||MAGGI® CukupRasa™|
- Heat kuali, add oil and stir fry salted ikan fish till partially crispy.
- Add garlic, shallots, and bird’s eye chillies.
- Next, add Kailan stems before adding kalian leaves in kuali.
- Add water.
- Add MAGGI® CukupRasa™.
- Serve hot.
Tips: For vegetables to cook fast, cut the stem into 4 pieces.
Pairing: Salted fish kalian with rice, sambal belacan, and iced rose syrup / iced black tea.
