Ingredients

3 tablespoons Cooking Oil
A:  
100 g Shallots, sliced
4 packets (120 g) MAGGI® Sambal Tumis Paste
400 g Chicken breasts, cleaned & cubed into 1 ½ cm pieces
   
B  
100 ml Water
2 tablespoons Tamarind juice
1 tablespoons Sugar

Preparation

  1. Heat up the oil, sauté shallots until soft.
  2. Add in MAGGI® Sambal Tumis Paste, mix well until the oil splits.
  3. Add in chicken, mix well until the meat turns white, continue to sauté until the meat is browned.
  4. Pour water into the mixture and let it simmer (1 minute).
  5. Add the sugar and tamarind juice, then mix well. Simmer for 3 minutes.
  6. Serve hot.
