4 tablespoons Cooking oil
Cinnamon sticks
4 cloves  Star anise
6 pieces Cardamom
6 Cloves
Large onion, blended
5 cm Ginger, blended
4 cloves Garlic
2 tablespoons Coriander powder
1 tablespoon Fennel seed
1/2 teaspoon Cumin powder
3 tablespoon Tomato paste
1/2 cup MAGGI®  Tomato Sauce
1 Pandan leaf
400 g Chicken breast
500 g Basmati rice, washed and tossed
650 ml Water
2 tablespoons MAGGI® CukupRasa™



  1. Heat oil in a pan, stir-fry ingredients A until fragrant.
  2. Add ingredients B and stir-fry until browned.

  3. Add ingredients C, mix for 1 minute.

  4. Then add the chicken, saute for 1 minute and set it aside.

  5. In an electric rice cooker, add rice, water & MAGGI® CukupRasa™. Mix this well.

  6. Pour the chicken mixture over the rice and let it cook together in the rice cooker.
