300 g water spinach, cut into 3-inch lengths
3 tablespoons cooking oil
3 red onions, sliced
3 cloves garlic, sliced
2 red chillies, thinly sliced
1 tablespoon MAGGI® CukupRasa™
1 teaspoon shrimp paste
2 tablespoon s water


  1. In a frying pan, heat the cooking oil. Add in the red onions, garlic and red chillies and sauté until they harmonize into a lovely aroma.

  2. Next, toss in your water spinach and sauté for a bit longer.

  3. Finally, add in the MAGGI® CukupRasa™, shrimp paste and water. Fry on high heat for 2 to 3 minutes until the water spinach wilts.

  4. Serve over steamed rice.
