½ pc Salted ikan kurau meat, cut into small pieces

3 cloves Garlic, pounded
1 nos Shallots, sliced
4 stalks Bird’s eye chillies, pounded
300 g Kailan, washed and sliced into big pieces (more leaves, stems sliced)
2 tbps Water
1 tsp MAGGI® CukupRasa™


1. Heat kuali, add oil and stir fry salted ikan fish till partially crispy.

2. Add garlic, shallots, and bird’s eye chillies.

3. Next, add Kailan stems before adding kalian leaves in kuali.

4. Add water.

5. Add MAGGI® CukupRasa™.

6. Serve hot.

Tips: For vegetables to cook fast, cut the stem into 4 pieces.

Pairing: Salted fish kalian with rice, sambal belacan, and iced rose syrup / iced black tea.
