You can replace the salmon with thin abalone slices, add in jackfruit, green apple or Japanese pear for more healthy options.

Ingredients

100 gSalmon sashimi, thinly sliced
1 piececarrot, gratted or shredded into long thin strips
½white radish, grated or shredded into long thin strips
4 piecesChinese green lettuce leaves, shredded
100 gcucumber, deseed and julienne or grated
1 slicepomelo, peeled and sacs separated
50 gspring onions, shredded
3 - 4 stalkscoriander leaves (leaves only)
1 packetMAGGI® Mi Goreng Cili Lazat, blanched and mixed with oil/sauces from the packet
2 tablespoonspickled ginger, shredded
½ piecered capsicum, shredded (optional)
½ piecegreen capsicum, shredded (optional)
2 teaspoonssesame oil
½ piecelime, cut into wedges
Sauce:
2 tablespoonslime juice
2 tablespoonsgranulated sugar / honey
1 teaspoonMAGGI® CUKUPRASA™
2 tablespoonsplum sauce
1 sachetSeasoning from MAGGI® Mi Goreng Cili Lazat
To Sprinkle:
½ teaspoonwhite pepper
½ teaspoon5 spice powder
3 tablespoonspeanuts,roasted and crushed
2 teaspoonswhite sesame seeds, toasted
30 gNESTLÉ Gold Flakes
1 sachetfried onions from MAGGI® Mi Goreng Cili Lazat

Preparation

1. Mix the sauce ingredients in a small bowl.

2. Place a mountain pile of finely shredded carrot and white radish in the middle of a big, round serving plate.

3. Arrange MAGGI® Mi Goreng Cili Lazat around the pile of shredded carrot and white radish, then arrange pomelo and remaining shredded/grated ingredients attractively (different colours) around the centre pile.

4. Arrange salmon sashimi on a small round plate. Top with some shredded spring onion and coriander leaves. Squeeze lime juice over the sashimi.

5. To serve, pour sesame oil and the sauce over the arranged ingredients. Sprinkle on fried onions, ve-spice powder, sesame seeds, peanuts and Nestlé Gold Cornakes. Add in sashimi slices.

6. Toss the Yee Sang using chopsticks, as high as possible while saying ‘prosperity greetings’ out loud to wish everyone for the year.
