Good to Know

Master low-fat cooking methods such as microwaving, grilling, toasting or baking and you’ll be pleased to know that these methods produce meals that are low in fat because they require little or no oil but it also brings out the taste in foods.

Ingredients

400 g lean minced beef
1 onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup mixed vegetables, rinsed and tossed
1 egg
4 slices wholemeal bread
½ cup MAGGI® Tomato Ketchup
1 teaspoon MAGGI® CukupRasa™
2 teaspoon mustard
1 teaspoon paprika
salt and pepper to taste
For the Glaze:
¼ cup tomato sauce
1 tablespoon mustard
1 teaspoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon vinegar
2 cups green beans, cooked

Preparation

1. Blend bread, garlic and onion.

2. Mix with mixed vegetables, minced meat, egg, MAGGI® CukupRasa™, paprika, mustard and tomato sauce.

3. Press into a loaf pan and bake at 200℃ for 40 minutes.

4. Mix together the ingredients for the glaze and brush over meatloaf before slicing it. Ladle a heaping spoonful of green beans beside the meatloaf and serve.
