500 gchicken breast, thickly sliced
cooking oil (for frying)
3 tablespoonsMAGGI® Oyster Sauce
1 tablespoonMAGGI® Concentrated Chicken Stock
2 tablespoonshoney
1 tablespoonsesame oil
1 tablespoonlight soy sauce
5 stalkslemongrass, blended
3 clovesgarlic, blended
20 gginger, blended
3shallots, blended
1 stalkcurry leaves, blended (leaves only)
1 tablespoonchilli powder
2 teaspoonscumin powder
1½ tablespoonscoriander powder
½ teaspoonaniseed powder


1. The night before cooking, blend the lemongrass, garlic, ginger, shallots and curry leaves together.

2. When the ingredients have formed into a fine paste, marinate the chicken pieces with it, along with the chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, aniseed powder, MAGGI® Oyster Sauce, MAGGI® Concentrated Chicken Stock, honey, sesame oil and light s

3. Leave it to marinate overnight.

4. When you’re about to cook the chicken, heat up the oil in a wok. Then, fry the marinated chicken until it turns a crisp golden brown.
