Ingredients

4 pc Cencaru fish,clean and sliced
1 tsp MAGGI® CukupRasa™
1 tbsp Oil
1 tbsp Oil – for kuali
A: (Blended)
20 pc Dried chillies, soaked in water
1 pc Red onion
3 clove Garlic
1 in Ginger
½ in Turmeric
5 stalks Lemongrass
B:
2 tbsp Tamarind paste
2 tbsp MAGGI® CukupRasa™
1 tsp Sugar
½ pc Grated coconut
4 sheets Banana leaves (warmed over fire to soften)

Preparation

1. Blend ingredients A till fine and add paste blended with grated coconut.

2. Slice open back of cencaru fish and stuff blended mix inside.

3. Rub MAGGI® CukupRasa™, oil, and turmeric powder all over fish.

4. Wrap fish with banana leaves.

5. Heat kuali with one tbsp oil, fry fish over medium heat for 20 – 25 minutes.

6. Serve piping hot.

Kitchen Tips : Ingredients B can be combined to make salsa sauce. Add more lime and sauce.
